The Premise
Earlier, Mrs. Jadhav had numerous issues with her existing kitchen. The doors were poorly aligned, the drawers had opening and closing challenges, and much more. Designing and Presentation
We sent the family a few modular kitchen design options and discussed each with them. After finalizing the choice, we designed the kitchen, keeping all their requirements in the center and five zone design principles in mind.
- The material we chose met their needs, and aesthetic preferences.
- While designing the kitchen they need, we followed the five zone principles. It included assembling their needs, applying ergonomics, creating zones and workflows, planning storage and coordinating other elements. The fixtures, appliances, and shelves were designed and arranged accordingly to ensure a seamless workflow across every cooking stage.
- Additionally, the lighting options chosen ensured adequate illumination across every corner of the kitchen.
- The existing tiles weren’t in proper shape. Accordingly, we changed them to suit the functional and visual appeal of the kitchen space.
Overall Process
The overall process suited their needs as specified by them. It was organized, respecting the family’s privacy as well while the work was in progress.
